Drama
The Drama production of Oliver Twist took place from Wednesday 30 November to 2 December. It was a highly successful production, played to three packed houses. Many congratulations to the cast, stage and technical crew, and particular thanks to Mr and Mrs Freeman, Director of Drama and Drama teacher for all their hard work and enthusiasm.
Music
The Candle-lit Carols were beautifully performed and played in the Memorial Chapel on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 December. The Carols were in aid of Amnesty International and the Godalming Old People Association.
The School Symphony Orchestra concert in Hall on Sunday, under the baton of Mark Blatchly (Teacher of Music), played a movement from Richard Strauss’ An Alpine Symphony - difficult music played with great skill and subtlety.
