We are delighted to hear that a film by Luis Enriquez (Year 12), has been selected for the ‘London Short Film Festival’ on Friday 13 January. His claymation entitled ‘Perspective’ is to be shown in the ‘New Shorts: Lo-Budget Mayhem’ section of the Festival at the Hackney Picturehouse.

The story is about the human world from the perspective of a little bug and shows how insects may perceive mundane everyday objects as death traps. But no matter what lethal contraptions are left around our home, we are often the ultimate cause of their demise. Luis says, "I hope this animation will make people think twice before stepping on any arthropods."

The Film Festival is now in its 14th year and is the premiere UK showcase for cutting-edge independent filmmaking. The ‘Lo-Budget Mayhem’ section illustrates what can be created with minimal cash and an original idea.
