Around fifty pupils from Daviesites, have raised an incredible £3,620 so far for ‘The Meath Epilepsy Charity’ from their charity swim.
The pupils and some teaching staff took to the water at the Queens Sport Centre on Sunday 19 March from 8.30am to 8.30pm. The aim was to complete 115km timed in 30-minute slots, some swimming three or four such slots throughout the day.
‘The Meath Epilepsy Charity’ was set up in Godalming to help people who have complex epilepsy and related disabilities. They help people receive support, care and encouragement, acquire new skills and encourage the confidence to be independent.
