The 1st XI continued a fine run of form as they dispatched Westminster with ease. After losing Rajan to the first ball of the day, Gilbey and Mahtani played beautifully until Gilbey cut to point. Singh followed quickly before Barlow joined Mahtani to maintain a very healthy run rate. A couple of quick wickets before lunch saw Chopra join Barlow and the pair played sensibly to and after the break. Barlow released the shackles and Vallance joined in late on as a flurry of boundaries took the total over 250. All that was left was for Barlow to reach three figures for his first hundred in school colours. Singh dismissed both openers and the rest of the attack scythed down Westminster in a hurry before a frustrating last wicket partnership held up the visitors. It was left to Captain Barlow to fittingly take the final wicket with five overs to spare. Singh was the pick of the bowling unit with 5 - 35. A job well done.
